Chanel Mobile Art Exhibit

Posted on 07 November 2008

Chanel Mobile Art exhibit opened in New York a few days ago. Centered around the iconic Chanel 2.55 quilted leather handbag, the Mobile Art exhibit is housed in a futuristic pavilion created by architect Zaha Hadid, that will live in Central Park through November 9th. The portable structure will display the work of 18 international contemporary artists who have created pieces inspired by elements that give the emblematic Chanel bag its identity. This is the exhibit’s only stateside visit (after touching down in Hong Kong and Tokyo), before it heads to London, Moscow, and finally, Paris.
