Coach Launches Are You a Poppy Girl? Campaign

In anticipation of the global launch of Poppy, Coach’s newest addition to its iconic roster of handbags and accessories, the brand is launching a new online marketing campaign aimed to appeal to a more directional and digitally minded customer. On July 1st, Coach, in partnership with digital marketing innovators Brickfish, will launch Are You a Poppy Girl?, an online campaign created to engage consumers with the Poppy collection and its many attitudes and unique appeal. Are You a Poppy Girl? is the follow up campaign to the widely successful Design a Coach Tote program launched last summer. Users will be asked to design a Poppy scrapbook page featuring their favorite Poppy Girl personality (i.e. Downtown Poppy, Cali Poppy, Uptown Poppy, Glam Poppy, Sporty Poppy). Entrants will be able to add style and personality through playful assets, logos, phrases and of course, Poppy accessories, to create a Poppy-perfect scrapbook page. The campaign will be shared from consumer to consumer via hundreds of social media sites, blogs, email, IM and more.

A grand prize, most viral, and runner up winner will be selected from all entrants and each winning entry will be transformed into an animated wallpaper page available for download on and Facebook. The grand prize will also include a Poppy themed weekend and personalized $2500 shopping spree. The online marketing campaign is open to US, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
