Haute Designer: Danielle Nicole DiFerdinando

Danielle Nicole DiFerdinandoA few weeks ago, I learned of a talented handbag designer, Danielle Nicole DiFerdinando. I discovered that we have a few things in common, which makes her story more relatable and inspiring. Danielle first designed custom neckties before venturing into handbag design. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and studied in Europe, amongst design houses like Hermes, Fendi and Prada. That experience alone would give any aspiring designer the confidence and determination to make their dreams a reality. Danielle eventually apprenticed at Bergdorf Goodman, Gucci and BE&D, to name a few. In 2006, Danielle launched Danielle Nicole Handbags. Shortly after, at the request of one of Bergdorf’s cosmetic buyers, Danielle designed a line of luxury cosmetic bags which were a must-have among handbag buyers.

Danielle Nicole Handbags are classic styles with a fresh, modern twist. Only the finest materials are used – Italian lambskin, crushed patent leather, and French embroidery fabric. Each Danielle Nicole collection shows a beautiful blend of different styles and textures. My favorites are the Kristi, Samantha and Gayle collections.
