Designed for Neiman Marcus to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the baguette, this bag was number 53 of only 70 produced in the world. The original retail price was $6,670. This bag is in brand new condition with everything including original tags, cards, extra beads and dust cover. Jill’s Consignment has a Limited Edition Christian Dior Samourai 1947 Woven Leather Frame Shoulder Bag that is beyond fabulous!!  In 2007, John Galliano incorporated Japanese artistic elements in the design for Dior handbags.  Dior Samourai 1947 Woven bag was released in celebration of Dior’s 60th anniversary.  I appreciate the extraordinary quality of craftsmanship that was put into this bag.  The hand stitched Japanese hair knot and tortoiseshell frame top are super elaborate.  Textural grained leather straps are crafted into a basket woven construction with serpent detail.  Rolled leather handle with twisted tie detailing and gusseted sides add a touch of Asian style.  Louis XVI picture frame tag with Christian Dior logo dangles from a leather strap.  On the flat bottom, there are protective metal feet.  Opening the snap clasp closure shows the Dior logo jacquard lining with interior zip pockets.

This bag is brand new with original Neiman Marcus tag attached, original receipt, all cards and dust cover.  Limited Edition number 1215.  Price: $1,895. Original price $3,900.

If I could go out today (stay in and shop online) and splurge on a new fall handbag, I would buy the Miu Miu Studded Leather Shoulder Bag in a heartbeat!  I love everything about this bag, starting with the navy and gray leather and the strategically placed gold and silver studs.  The leather looks worn yet still buttery soft and rich.  Additional features include adjustable brown leather and chain shoulder straps, hanging keyfob, internal patch and zipped pockets, zipped back compartment, designer-stamped push-lock fastening front compartment, and snap-fastening tabs at top. You just never know what kind of treasures you will find consignment shopping!  Take a look at what I discovered at Jill’s Consignment – a beautiful Vintage Chanel Black Satin Beaded Mini Envelope Flap Shoulder Bag.  My favorite detail is the gold bugle beading.  It also has a flap with magnetic snap closure, CC quilted at base, chain/leather entwined shoulder strap and red leather lining with zippered pocket. This Chanel bag is priced at $395.00, and is in excellent condition.

Jill’s Consignment, one of my go-to shops for finding haute designer deals, has a beautiful, black leather Prada shoulder bag that is totally worth checking out!  From the 2005 Collection, the Ring Show Rivet Bag is made of black goatskin leather with golden brass rivet detail. It has double handles, top turn-lock closure, and burgundy leather lining with three compartments and single snapped pocket. Original retail was over $3,000. The Fendi linen baguette is on sale now at Barneys New York!  I love this bag for two reasons – it’s simple yet fun.  I consider Fendi bags a wild card – some are classic, everyday bags, while others are whimsical, attention-grabbing statement pieces.  The linen baguette strikes the perfect balance. It has a linen flap front with magnetic closure and removable leather shoulder strap.  The multicolor straw detail makes this bag far more interesting and versatile.  It has satin lined interior with leather trimmed zipper pocket.  Price: $995 $599.

My obsession with all things ikat is still going strong, so I was delighted to find the COACH Kristin Ikat Top Handle Pouch.  It has a muted ikat print mixed with the COACH logo, and soft leather trim and mirror Kristin clasp. It’s reasonably priced at $168.00.  There are several other styles in the same ikat print if you want the option of buying a few coordinating accessories.
