Brahmin, a New England handbag company, has worked with Vogue to design a limited-edition tote for Fashion’s Night Out on September 10, 2010.  Five dollars from the sale of each $45 bag will be donated to the NYC AIDS Fund.

Jim Bunn, Chief Marketing Officer for Brahmin, said, “Fashion’s Night Out is a truly amazing initiative and something that we are thrilled to be a part of. We’ve worked with Vogue and Vogue Studio, our creative agency, on several initiatives over the last couple of years, so we are very excited to partner with Vogue again to support Fashion’s Night Out.”

I am in love with the Ted Baker Print Basket Tote!! I first saw it at Nordstrom at Southpark Mall in Charlotte and decided to wait on buying it.  Braided straw and brightly striped silk combine to create a lovely textural contrast in a structured tote. It is always refreshing to find handbags with a distinct point of view. I am excited to share a line of handbags that achieves a “preppy-chic” resort style. I recently surprised my mom with the navy tie dye Tory Burch Ella Tote.  She’s been seriously looking for a Tory Burch bag for months, and after scouring many, many websites,  she finally found one (pictured on right).  I was actually excited to surprise her with the (latest) bag of her dreams, and she was indeed thrilled when her package arrived.  She had no idea it was coming!  Fast forward six days.  I’m online checking out bags on various websites and came across the Tory Burch Ella Tote in navy seaport (pictured on left).  It had my mom’s name all over it!  I knew she would love the color combination.  In fact, when I showed her the second Ella tote, she flipped!  She’s going to return the navy tie dyed tote for her new favorite Tory Burch tote.  Price: $195 at Shopbop.com
