Buy a Joanie Tote + Support Team Walking for Joan During the 2015 Walk to Answer TTP Together

JT-WalkingforJoanWe are joining the Answering TTP Community for the 2015 Walk to Answer TTP Together on Saturday, September 19, in honor of my mom, Joanie.  As you may have learned in previous posts, two years ago she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune blood disorder known as “TTP”, and passed away within four months. {Learn more about her story here}.  We both loved shopping for accessories, especially handbags, so it seemed only fitting to create a bag that celebrated the dynamic woman Joanie was.  The Be Fancy & Fabulous Joanie Tote was designed with the help of amazing fashion illustrator, Jennifer Lilya, and manufactured in the heart of LA’s fashion district.

50% of all Joanie Totes sales in September will be donated to Team Walking for Joan. With no known cure, patients are living each day in fear of another relapse that could end in irreversible damage to the brain, heart and/or kidneys. Patients are still losing their battle with TTP. Your donation will help us to raise funds for much needed international research and care.

Click {here} to purchase your Joanie Tote or make a donation to Team Walking for Joan {here}. With each donation of $20.00 or more, you will be entered to win a Be Fancy & Fabulous Joanie Tote! No amount is too small..every dollar counts! As always, I appreciate your supporting a cause that’s so close to my heart.

Special Offer: Support the 2015 Walk to Answer TTP Together + Win a Joanie Tote

TTP Walk

On September 19, 2015, I am joining the Answering TTP Foundation in their annual Walk to Answer TTP Together to help raise TTP awareness. I lost my mother to the rare auto-immune blood disorder, Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, TTP (more on her story here), so this cause is extremely close to my heart. With no known cure, patients are living each day in fear of another relapse that could end in irreversible damage to the brain, heart and/or kidneys. Your donation will help us to raise funds for much needed international research and care.

With each donation of $20.00 or more, you will be entered to win a Be Fancy & Fabulous Joanie Tote! I collaborated with fashion illustrator Jennifer Lilya on the design, and named Joanie Totes after my beautiful mother, who I affectionately called “Joanie”. The mission of Joanie Totes is to ‘raise TTP awareness…one bag at a time’.
