Matt & Nat is one of the most chic sustainable labels out there!  I was browsing through all the fabulous new arrivals, and could not decide which to call my favorite.  My top pick is the Laika bag – rust vegan leather with 100% recycled brown lining, tone on tone stitching and antique brass hardware. I like to check in Macy’s from time to time because I always find a cute bag under $100!  Since I’m way too obsessed with color and bright prints, I don’t usually go for black bags but the Olivia + Joy Unchained Satchel immediately caught my eye!  I love the chain detail!  What else is there to say about it? Brahmin, a New England handbag company, has worked with Vogue to design a limited-edition tote for Fashion’s Night Out on September 10, 2010.  Five dollars from the sale of each $45 bag will be donated to the NYC AIDS Fund.

Jim Bunn, Chief Marketing Officer for Brahmin, said, “Fashion’s Night Out is a truly amazing initiative and something that we are thrilled to be a part of. We’ve worked with Vogue and Vogue Studio, our creative agency, on several initiatives over the last couple of years, so we are very excited to partner with Vogue again to support Fashion’s Night Out.”

MCM surprised me with this one!  The Glam Rock Shopper would make a fabulous everyday or weekend bag for several reasons.  Let’s start with the texture, studded logo detail and the chain straps with leather tassel.  All the details seem to work well together.  The price is a little steep, but if you’re considering a new bag for fall/winter, then this MCM may be perfect for you!  Price: $1,345 at Bloomingdale’s.
